Ban Appeal Rules & Guidelines
If you feel you've been banned incorrectly or are due an unban, then this is the section you are required to be in. Your accounts will remain banned if you have clearly failed to follow the community rules. A tester, admin or lead admin will only place a ban onto an account if they are sure the owner of that account has breached a rule in some way. From time to time a mistake can happen but that'll be discussed upon you appealing to the banning staff member.
You are responsible for your account at all times, meaning giving your password out to another person or account sharing with someone could lead to you becoming banned from Los Santos Roleplay and not being allowed to return.
Posting Your Appeal
If you know which member of staff has banned you, then please post in their specific forum found in either the Game Admins or Lead Admins forums. If you were banned by a tester or are unsure who it was who banned you or where to post your appeal, just post it in this Ban Appeal forum and it will be moved appropriately.
You can find a list of our staff and their main character names on our LSRP Staff List.
Ingame Bans
Use the format as listed below
UCP Bans
Use the same format as below, but add your UCP name aswell into the "Ingame Name" section
Spraycan Bans
Use the same format as below. Members of staff can only see who banned you and their reason while you're in-game, so ask over /helpme or /report to check who banned you and why so you can include it as evidence.
Teamspeak Bans
Use the same format as below, but insert your teamspeak name into the "Ingame Name" section
Add your Unique ID to your appeal in the "Ingame name" section. This can be found by doing the following:
1. Open your Teamspeak 3 client.
2. Go to Settings where you should select Identities.
3. By the right side of Default you should see the field Unique ID
4. Copy and paste the unique ID into your appeal which allows the administrator to easily manage your appeal.
Forum Bans
If you have a time-based forum ban then you must wait for this to expire. If you have been permanently banned from the forums, the only way to appeal your ban is to contact the admin via the Ticket Support Site. Choose the "Ban Appeal" help topic and appeal your ban. If the admin states you are to stay permanently banned, then you must not make another ticket.
Posting Format
The topic title of your appeal should be:
CODE: SELECT ALL
Firstname_Lastname [Banning-Admins-Name]
For example: John_Johnson [gus] etc.
CODE: SELECT ALL
Ingame name: -PLACE-YOUR-TEXT-HERE-
Date of ban: -PLACE-YOUR-TEXT-HERE-
Time of ban: -PLACE-YOUR-TEXT-HERE-
Ban Reason: -PLACE-YOUR-TEXT-HERE-
Explanation of what happened: -PLACE-YOUR-TEXT-HERE-
Ingame name: Insert your ingame name here (Or Teamspeak/IRC/forum name if either of those have been banned). To speed up searching for names, please include the "_" between firstnames and surnames.
Date of ban: Insert the full date of when this happened here. e.g. 01/06/13 (Not "Today" or "Yesterday") - This helps with checking any server logs
Time of ban: Insert the time of when it happened here. e.g. 13:30 - This helps with checking any server logs
Ban Reason: Please enter the official ban reason if you know it. If you are unsure of this, please put "Unknown"
Explanation: You need to explain what happened, why it happened and how you will not let it happen again. Do NOT lie in this part. If you are found to be lieing in your appeal to try and get out of trouble, you will be kept permanently banned regardless of what your ban reason was. Being truthful and remorseful over what you did will prove to the admin that you are trustworthy and deserve to come back. Keep the accusations out of this section - you have no one to blame but yourself for the ban. Remember that this is an APPEAL and not an unban request forum so you must show effort in how you deserve to come back to play here.
